According to Jerry MacNeish's, Definitive 67-68 Z/28 Fact Book, based on statistical percentages, 7% or 43 of the 602 67 Z's may have been Tahoe Turquoise. Of those, there is no way of knowing how many would have been Rally Sports.

There are currently 8 known Tahoe Turquoise '67 Zs with the RS option and 5 known without the RS option.

Good friend of mine had a 67 Tahoe Turquoise RS Z with black vinyl top and white stripes. You would think that would merit a - - paint code, as the default stripe would be black if ordered with black vinyl top.

Car was stolen in early 70's and recovered without the original engine. My buddy talked the insurance company into NOT totaling it. They installed an engine from a 69 Z that was badly storm damaged.

Car was sold locally (OKC) in the mid 70's. Last I heard it was beat up on pretty good and ended up in Texas in the late 70's. My buddy did not keep anything with the VIN on it. I don't believe he ever even looked at the trim tag.

The stripe color only changed for Bolero Red and Marina Blue cars with black vinyl tops. Tahoe Turquoise with a black vinyl top still would've had white stripes and there are at least a couple of L-2 coded cars in the Registry that do have the white stripes.

Well, that explains the white stripes.
It was a stunning car in 1969 when I first saw it.
