There are fewer known 66 and 67 L78 Chevelle convertibles known today. I believe the number of documented 66 L78 Convertibles known is 3. I have never seen a real documented 67 L78 Chevelle convertible but one is apparently scheduled to run through Mecum. |

It must have been added as the T-400 was not available in 1967 with a L-78.

Re: 1967 L78
20% is approx 220 cars, the 9 cars listed equals less than 5% still remaining today. There may be more cars yet to be discovered, but I don't think the number will increase by much, maybe 1 or 2. Thanks Kurt for the information. That leaves approx 900 coupes that were built, any guess how many coupes are known to exist today.

Friend of mine has a red on red L78 coupe with 22K original miles and 1 repaint. Car is amazing.Sold out of Reedman in Langhorn Pa. Does anyone have an approximate date when the first batch of 67L78 cars were built? Just curious.
