70ish camaro.. if the lever coming out of the top is angled..if its straight out the top...looks like GTO 69ish..cant tell much from the pics posted..

3138 doesnt ID anything except its out of a GM car...but even thats not positive..they used 3138s in other manufaturers cars

looks like mid 70s Firebird
check the bolt pattern on the mount plate to see if it fits Muncie trans or BW

The 3138 housing was used on GM, American motors and Ford. Chrysler used the 2083 housing. The way the levers appear its most likely not a Ford or Chrysler unit. Do you happen to have the chrome shifter arm? There is a 4 digit code that would tell you at least what it was used in. Example, 4 digit code 5325 is for a 68-69 Firebird or 69 Camaro all 3 and 4 speeds with bucket seats with or without console.

1975-81 Firebird/Trans-Am with ST-10, different handles for 1975-79 and 1980-81...

sometimes there are numbers on the rods that can help ID it
