Default 69 Chevelle SS

My 69 SS has a rad with an angled filler neck, does anyone know if they were angled or straight from the factory?
I'm trying to decide if I should have mine re-cored or buy a reproduction rad?
Where's a good place to buy a reproduction?
Thx

I purchased my stock looking copper/brass radiator from Modine many moons ago and going strong. Not sure if Modine still sells them but I see Summit racing advertising the stock replacement radiators as well as many other Chevy parts vendors.

They were flat in 1969.

You may want to take some pics of your rad and post them on here. The only rad I'm aware of with a curved neck was in '69 Camaro COPO cars. It may have been transplanted into your Chevelle at some point. It may be of interest to others on here.

I believe he is referring to the filler (cap) area not the top hose.
