Back in the late 70's and early 80's in the Philly area I remember a red '66 or'67 Ford Fairlane GT running around town. I think the guy worked at the Arco gas station in Southampton because that's where I always remember seeing the car in the bays. Damn that thing was loud and it sure seemed to run like a raped ape but what did I know at the time. I didn't have my drivers license yet but that car sure was a looker.

Don, I remember that Z!! I am thinking it was blue or purple but I remember the dude being pushed around in his wheelchair by his buddies and watching them place him in the car. I watched that car run at JFK all night!! I don't remember the pace car but I remember the two white Can Ams and the woodgrain Malibu wagon with the 454 in it. They were some kool nights............

Two other cars I remember well was an orange 69 Z with centerlines that ran with the latino crowd and a 340 Duster with a HEAVY dose of silver metallic paint and black 340 stripes. I think the Duster had cragar SS's on it. I always seen that car down there but never seen it race anyone........

Mike ;I believe you are asking about whatever happened to the vette of bo Laws.I know Bo;great guy .I asked bo this same question a while back.He had sold all the corvette a long time ;and has no idea of what happened to them.A few had come around; But bo said these were not one of his original cars.He still has the shop .But within the last years has changed it over ;and does nothin but carbs now.;called BLP (Bo Laws products or performance)A guy that drove Bo cars/ after bo;is a guy named Fred Kinney who could build a killer muncie tranny;he has recently moved a few mile from me.He said years ago he quit building muncie;but is semi retired now;may try and talk him into it again.anybody have any question for Bo;i will be glad to relay it back to him.chris Teed
