That is great news Tom. The best grow the fastest.

Unfortunately, how many of those are real? Seems every day I see the same clown (assuming it is the same) registering with some stupid new name and location somewhere in the world every day for what reason I have no idea. I think half of the registered names with no information are fake. Must be people who are pretty bored. It would sure be nice if they could be blocked.

Yeah.folks register here for all kinds of reasons, some sincere, some who had been previously banned, some as you say, are bored.

All boards are faced with this, and really no good way to handle it without limiting access to the site. Though some sites do this, our policy is to be as open and accessible as possible. That is why our mods are so important, doing a thankless job.

If I may...I'm curious about people who are banned. Are they banished for life...or do they get a second chance at some point?

Depends.

Normally one is banned because of remarks made about this site, and/or someone on here. Unless really out of line, an apoligy is all that is needed to become un-banned.

What is kind of amazing, at least to me, yenko.net has been on the world wide web for 12+ years, and I would say not more then 25-30 folks have ever been banned, with the majority of those trolls just passing through, stirring the pot. IMO, our mods, with the help of members, do a remarkable job of keeping things in order.

Thanks Tom. As said, was just curious.

Great friendships made, knowledge gained, and helpful advice...this is truly an awesome site. All you have to do is visit some of the other car sites to realize just how professionally run this one is. No bickering, name-calling, tearing each other's cars apart that distracts from the other sites. Kudos to everyone here who plays a part in making yenko.net the Super car site it is!

I might add, of the ones who have been banned, a few folks have even asked to be banned or have their posting prividges revoked.
