1962 Impala Convertible - Orignal Survivor
I am selling 1962 Impala Convertible. It is completely original, rust free, and never restored with original metal and paint. The original interior is immaculate. Details as follows:
-283 engine -3 speed stick, on column -power top -seat belts -under dash tach -original bill of sale This car was purchased new at Reedman Chevrolet, the worlds largest automobile establishment, as stated on the paperwork, dated 3-30-62. Also included is the original installment sales contract. Only the engine was detailed and a new clutch was installed. Otherwise, this car is completely original. The original owner kept the interior and trunk floor covered with blankets to preserve them as you will see. This Impala runs and drives perfect. $44,500 Please call Mike for more information at 215-962-1963. Car is located in Huntingdon Valley Pennsylvania, just North of Philadelphia. I am having difficulty uploading my picture file, so I will send it to anyone interested in the car. |

Re: 1962 Impala Convertible - Orignal Survivor
Hi Mike,
I am passing this along to a friend, although it looks to be a nice survivor, with a 283 and 95K on the clock I think you might need to negotiate a little on your price. The gentleman I am sending this to, had a 63 Impala Convertible with documented 51,000 Miles, and only 2 owners, It had been re-painted in correct color though so not totally original but rust free and fully detailed. It sold for $21,000. Just an FYI. Good luck with the selling, I will send this to my friend as I have a couple others, he is looking for a full size ragtop. Good luck selling.

Re: 1962 Impala Convertible - Orignal Survivor
For $44,500 I would take a 62 convertible over a LS-5 wagon.
