What is the application?

If BBC/SBC, old part # is <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">1500</span></span> (newer ones have 5 digit part #s)...

The very early Lakewoods were shaped differently than current ones..even differently than ones made in the mid to late 70's on up.

I see them on Ebay or the swaps at times...very distinctive flange shape.

Any one know when the switch to 5 digits was?

The Lakewood scattershield that I am looking for was originally installed on my 68 big block camaro on January 1969. I have pictures of what the scattershield looked like but not sure on the part number. Unfortunately my uploads are not visible but will send them via email.

Are you sure that is a Lakewood scattershield? I have not seen one like that.
