Default '68 Camaro, dry WA State project car, former drag car?

Looks like a previous owner had some fun with this one judging by the Vertigate shifter. Car looks pretty clean and the stickers on the plate are from '88 so it's been sitting for some time.

That trim tag is puzzling - VV is for Sequoia Green, which looks a lot like a charcoal grey with a hint of green, but it sure looks like Rally Green in the jambs. I guess someone could have painted it that color somewhere along the way, but that's not typical. Usually when someone did a color change, they went to blue or red or black.

Saw that too - thought it was odd.

Sequoia Green is gorgeous if you spray it the correct shade.

Yep, Sequoia Green is one of those underrated colors, kind of like Burnished Brown. You have to see one in the sunlight in fresh paint to appreciate it. And a contrasting color like white stripes and interior really makes it pop.
