Default Fairbanks transmission

Ever since I read about Motion cars I have been infatuated with period after market speed parts. On my list of toys I wanted was one of these clutch turbo transmissions. I had the parts to build one years back. But when I had the chance to get a complete one, built by Fairbanks I jumped on it. a 13 hour trip to Ohio, it is mine. Going to put it in a 70 Nova I bought to go racing again.

A bit better than a nuetral start? I remember that used to be the norm before a few sanctioning bodies outlawed the practice ... seems the MoPar troops were attempting same and many transmissions pucked their insides on the starting line. TAZ

Need to use an adjustable clutch (like this adjustable Long Style Soft-Loc) or slider. A few years back Hot Rod(?) had an article on a street driven El Camino with one of these Clutch Turbos installed.

What instructions are you looking for? I have a complete kit to convert a typical TH400 into a Clutch Turbo, and some old articles.
