Re: WOW hot wheels
hotwheels An allegedly sealed case of Hotwheels cars from the 1960s. Unless the guy can provide an X-ray image of the box there is no way in hell I'd ever bid for something like that. Looks like several layers of sealing tape on the box. There's some crazy tursting souls out there. Bid up $35,000 at the moment. |

Re: WOW hot wheels
That case of hw's has been on ebay for quite sometime. Owner thinks he can command price pre 2007. Hmmmmmm would I rather own a '69 Camaro SS 396 for $35k or a box of mint brand new hw's???? This is a hard one to decide.........

Re: WOW hot wheels
The seller is nuts if he has a reserve that hasn't met at that price. I won't even comment on the high bidder.

It looks to be the original tape. A lot of times a vintage factory sealed case of collectables like this are worth more than the contents of the case if it were opened and sold individually. I collect unopened boxes of baseball and football cards and know that is the way it is with the vintage baseball/football cases. James
