Re: 2015 Challenger Hellcat. 707 hp.
These new high HP cars are getting harder to insure. I have a friend with a perfect driving record with the same insurance co. for the last 14 yrs. He purchased a new 2014 GTR and the insurance co. called him after he purchased it and tried to back out of insuring it. They did insure it, but they didnt want to.

I saw Jake D. posted this on Facebook.
The Hellcat runs 10.85 at 126mph on drag radials. WOW.....did they bring a production car or a ringer prepped by Jim Wagner? Kurt http://blogs.hotrod.com/2015-dodge-chall...l#axzz37BoH4173 |

I'm a GM guy but "Blown Hemi Challenger" sure rolls off the tongue nicely! Obviously built for street racing because the Tech Guy at every NHRA track from coast to coast is gonna point to the exit gate when these start showing up without roll bars and a WHOLE lot of other mandated equipment. I think we finally reached the pinnacle!

Re: 2015 Challenger Hellcat. 707 hp.
$55k is what the dealership is getting it for. They will probably mark it up $20k to $30k. When the challenger was first revived, I remember the dodge dealership near me was asking $70k when the car actually cost somewhere in the $50k range fully loaded.
