Default '70 LS6 with Original CRV Block and Build Sheet

Sold new at Quality Chevrolet in Oak Lawn, IL. Looks like it was Cortez Silver originally. Trans is a replacement but it's supposed to come with the original VIN-stamped CRV block (engine in the car is a replacement).

Definitely has that driver look with the speakers cut into the door panels, but if you could buy this one at a fair price, and reinstall the original engine, you may have some room to work with....

I represented this car last year in November.
More info about the car here.
You are welcome to still call Richard at the same number I posted.

Is the original block hurt is any way, or has it had any repairs from previous damage?

I have no idea, never did ask Richard about the details of that Original Block. Best to contact him directly to ask that question. He is not on this Forum.

The original block has a sleeve in it. Richard told me that it ran hot and rather than deal with it he put a replacement block in the car so he could drive and enjoy it. I saw no other major issues with the block on a quick going over. I have photos of the stamps and dates of the original block as well as many more of the car and will discuss if anyone is a serious buyer. Please no VIN collectors as I am way too busy for that.
