I like oddball colors and that's pretty cool, but not sure I would buy it.

Neat colors.
Boy... people are getting pretty loose with the term "survivor". That car appears to have quite a bit of restoration / modifications. When I think "survivor", I generally think of an unmolested original. |

Just because Harvey Weinstein owned it dosn't mean it was molested

70 Nova..
Front grill and headlite bezels are not correct for SS option...the SS emblem on the grill is 'too' low...this car has been apart...at least in the front...or perhaps this was a regular Nova and the SS badging was added
Looks like a clean ride..If it has an LT-1 and runs and drives well...it's not a bad price provided there are no hidden issues. -wilma

Isn't the grill supposed to be black and was bench cloth available on any SS? Last edited by ZiggyL78; 08-06-2018 at 11:37 PM. |

Please correct me if I am wrong, but fuel injection never came from the factory on a Nova, right? Here's a interesting resource on the LT1 in a 1970 Nova: http://chevynova.org/1970LT1_Engine.html |

70 Nova..
Discussions about interior and exterior choices, colors and features are a constant topic when it comes to the Nova. The Nova SS option had nothing to do with colors or interior options like bench or bucket seats and consoles.
The SS option got you the base SS engine [in this case the L-48 350/300hp small block] and a variety of mechanical & cosmetic items like; hood louvers, special SS grill and front bezels, rear panel with SS emblem, dual exhaust, E70 x 14 wide ovals, etc. All of the paint colors and combos were available on any Nova from the rare 4cyl. all the way to the mighty L78. So, when looking at a Nova advertised as an SS it helps to keep all of this mind...short of a born with driveline or solid documents it is often hard to prove the SS status...but, ultimately most cars speak for themselves, and if you know what to look for it can be figured out. -wilma
