Not to steal this thread, but figured it would be best to ask this here instead of starting a new thread.

Could you guys give me a opinion on this stamping? It's from my Nova. The engine has had work done but was told that the deck was never cut.

Post 69 Nova...

Looks pretty good to me...I would like to see the broach marks on the block a little clearer. So this is a 69 Nova with 350/300hp L48 with a std tranny...yes?

Does the VIN stamp match the one on the transmission.?

Yes, that's correct. Yes, the transmission (M20) is also stamped with vin. I need to take a pic of it. Also these are the heads that are on it. Im just trying to find out how much originality there is. and I did find the fisher broadcast sheet. Thanks so much for your help.
