Default Tim Schuetz;s (NAPA68) not so stock 1967 Nova!

Bruce,

As urged by Ken ( KWHIZZ) here are some photos of my 67 Nova in progress. The latest revision includes the addition of a 9" Ford, CPP front control arms along with a Church Boys rack and pinion conversion. This all was done to support my new engine. 422" SBC.

I have owned this car for about 5 years now. It has gone through some changes in my ownership from a 327 Powerglide to a 355 5 speed.

The 422 dynoed at 596hp @ 6300 and made 545 ft lb @ 4100.
Engine specs

World Products Little M block
AFR 227 heads
10.6:1 compression ratio
Eagle 4340 crank and rods
Ross pistons
Comp solid roller .678 lift 260/262 duration @.050 106 lobe center
Jesel shaft rockers
Edelbrock Victor Jr. (ported)
Holley 830 HP carb (out of the box)
MSD Ignition
Hooker 1 3/4 headers in a 3" x-pipe with Flowmasters

Hoping there may be a high 10 pass in the future (with some ET Streets on the way)

Tim Schuetz

Wow, that stance and the overall look (sleeper) are just outstanding! Very nice.

Beautiful car, now all we need is a video clip so we can hear that bad boy idle.

-----Although I understand the benefits of rack and pinion steering, most of the time I dont like the set-ups as they hang down in plain view. Yours appears to tuck up in there very nicely . I wish more of them did! Very cool ride all the way around .......Bill S
