The date is good for the vin#. I would guess during restoration, looks like it had some firewall rust pitting.

not a survivor, been repainted, I inspected this car for Stefano in dec last yr.....nom as well, FW wheels, nice orig interior, was a Colorado car for a long time....guy here in AZ bought it for cheap,, did 11K of work and had about 28K into the whole thing from what I can recall.....he might still be the owner - but is far from a survivor

OH Dear. Triple green and pop rivets on the tag. That's gotta be one of the least saleable Zees on the market.

Re: 1969 Z/28 for sale on myclassicgarage
I cannot speak for the originality but this color combo is quite refreshing to see instead of all the reds, yellows and oranges out there today. I almost want to puke when I see another Garnet Red car. I used to love it 20 years ago. Now I hate it. And aside from Lemans Blue and Hugger Orange there really was not a color any more popular when built than Frost Green. I like it, especially without the spoiler and cowl hood. Again though, survivor? unmolested? Not so sure.

Re: 1969 Z/28 for sale on myclassicgarage
I want to show up at the guy's house on a Saturday morning with a pair of rocker spears and enough green and silver paint to re-do the grill... Just out of the kindness of my heart. Those 2 things are visually killing that car badly for me.... well, that and the BFG's.

I like the new description better than Eddie's. |
