Back in the late 80s a buddy of mine was just finishing off a frame off resto on his 63 split window. The gas gauge didnt work so he pulled down the fuel tank and went in for the night. The next day he went out to work on it when he opened the garage door some how the metal rollers sparked and the whole garage went up. The split window his other 65 Vette and the garage burned to the ground.

I threw away my last Edison Bulb trouble light last week. That's all I had growing up and I probably blew more bulbs in those things alone than all the blown bulbs in every house I ever lived in. Now I feel much safer with florescent and LED bulbs. My 20 dollar box fans in the garage are probably not much safer when it comes to gas fumes... Good luck with the Camaro search

Wasn't exactly my intention when starting this thread, but if even one of the folks reading it changes bulbs and it saves them then its worth it and adds some significance to my friends untimely passing.
I'm not really looking to purchase the car (wish I had the budget for it), just curious as to its whereabouts and hope it went to someone who appreciates it as much as Lloyd did.

Wow and how many times I have done that! I quit using them long ago after hearing some of those stories I hate even hearing this stay safe always think ahead safety first. Hell I even carry fire extinguishers in all my cars.

Wonder where it was sold? I heard a rumor of one not far from there but never have seen it.
