Default 69 Z/28 or small block ducted hood coil bracket

Coil bracket specific to the ducted hood small block cars. Angled back farther than the regular small block bracket to allow clearance for the ducted hood air cleaner.

Buyer gets CHOICE of the two. The one on the left has been lightly bead blasted. Very nice, no rust, but I can tell it is a blasted finish.

The other one is untouched as it came off the car back in the 70's. It is the original finish with lots of grime, but no rust.

I guarantee these to be real deep angled GM brackets. They have not been bent back to look like the correct ones. Each has the original pinch screw.

Choice: $40 shipped.

As usual, I must be selling this stuff too cheap. But... I would much rather see it go to guys on this site, than to help make the epay gurus richer.

Grimey one to X33RSZ and the other one to Eddie.

You guys send me a pm with a shipping address.

I can do paypal or you can send a check. Whatever is easiest.

If you want to paypal, I will respond with my email address via pm.

A member sent me a PM questioning whether these were correct.

He did not think the angle was deep enough, and questioned whether they should have the notch on top.

I believe the notch theory has been debunked by JohnZ, whose survivor car has no notch in the bracket.

I put an inclinometer on a standard bracket and it measured about 20 degrees.

These measure 28 to 30 degrees. I have seen reports (haven't actually measured one) that it should be between 30 and 35 degrees.

Just want to be sure you guys are ok with that.

Even if you decide after the fact, I would give a full refund.

I will include this message in my pm to each of you.

Lynn

Lynn, my 69Z that im currently restoring is a 09D car and an orig assembly line ordered cowl hood car. This particular car
has the notched coil bracket.

There are various opinions on this for sure - I can only go with what I have inhand etc.

My current bracket is out for plating, but should be back next week so I can get the measurements to compare to what your saying.

just a FWIW statememt.
