Arrow Restored 429 Mach 1 Mustang Destroyed Just Miles Away From Destination

Restored 429 Mach 1 Mustang Destroyed Just Miles Away From Destination

Quote:
Cars sitting atop an open car trailer while rolling down the interstate is a common sight. Most often this involves brand new cars being delivered to a dealership, but many private buyers hire auto transport services to deliver a vehicle they had just purchased since many classic cars that are sold are purchased from out of state. That was the case here with a beautiful restored Mach 1 429 Ford Mustang. Except, this ended up being a shipping disaster that ultimately ended in tragedy for this classic Ford pony.

Private hauler. Single car perched on a 3-car gooseneck trailer at the very front of the trailer. That car should have been at least a car length back on that trailer. No weight on the brakes of the trailer. Very high center of gravity on the front of the trailer above the truck's rear axle. Recipe for rollover.

Reliable is one of the best out there, judging by my firsthand experience.

Looks like to me the whole rig tumbled. Maybe too fast, blown tire, fell asleep, but more than likely texting his next pick-up/drop off and lost it!
