Re: 1970 Deuce Value Appraisal
I have used Bruce Shaw Esq. 215-657-2377. Good thing I was honest with him when answering his questions, he also appraised Cliff Ernst's collection which is who I bought my car from! Bruce had seen & known my car for years before I bought it.
He also provides: Seller Misrepresentation Odometer Problems - TMU/Exempt Auction/Internet Problems Title Problems - Open Titles Fraudulent Documentation Restamping Engines/Trim Tags Inaccurate Car Appraisals

Does he have to come to my car to look at it or does he work from an interview and photographs?

Re: 1970 Deuce Value Appraisal
I believe he prefers to visit the car before he puts his name on the appraisal, and he takes his own pictures and submits them along with the appraisal.

Re: 1970 Deuce Value Appraisal
I've been appraising since the early '90's, and have had the good fortune to appraise several Yenkos, courtesy of Jim Hughes (NWYENKO). I've belonged to the IAAA (Int'l Assoc of Auto Appriasers) since '96, and like them as an organization. If you go to the website, you can click on your state to find members that appraise in your area. Auto Appraising is pretty wide open as far as regulation, so interview prospective appraisers to make sure you're convinced of their methods and knowledge.
http://www.auto-appraisers.com/Navigation%20Page.htm I, likewise, only put my name to cars I inspect in person. Pictures, and people, lie, and its not worth getting pulled into a lawsuit for the cost of an appraisal. Good luck! TOM BRESKE Seattle, WA |

Re: 1970 Deuce Value Appraisal
Hi guys, Had to put the Deuce on the back burner for a while. Had a lot of other more important things to take care of. We were also wondering about the best way to get this car insured until we decide what we're doing, so this post was really helpful. Thanks, Linda
