That's a rare one and a car that needs to be restored to the highest level.

This is my Diplomat Blue 1969 Buick GS 400 Stage 1 Coupe I had in High School in 1972, 15" Motor wheels, RWL Goodyear G-60 GT's and all I did a search through Buick back in 1973 and was told they made 1281 Coupes and 212 Convertibles total production Stage 1 cars in 1969, but that could have been only USA made cars. Any which way, It was RARE back in 1972, and it is even RARER now!

Strange body style. You either love it or hate i. It sure was fast! All I know is It could smoke a 440 Charger.

Good luck withe the restoration, posts pictures!

I looked at a 69 Stage I vert bench seat 4 speed way back in the early 2000's. California car that needed restored. Plenty rare, but I'm in the "hate it" camp on that body style so I passed on it. It was Diplomat blue with white top & guts

Agreed. Ugh. Buick fumbled their A-body design for '68 and '69 and recovered nicely 1970-72.
