Default 1970 Chevelle disc brake caliper cores LH 5469700 & RH 5469701

Hi Everyone,

I have one pair of disc brake caliper cores here as shown below.

1970 Chevelle 5469700 & 5469701 calipers.

You want the correct GM parts on your car.

CORES - will need to be rebuilt.

$150 PPG shipped to the 48.

Thanks sYc,
Anthony

Hey again,

Had an ask for the dates and while these are cast dated differently than Camaro calipers, I think I understand that they're like water pumps - letter for month (including "I") and a number for the day.

And the stamped Julian date on the bolt tabs - but in my experience these are infrequently stamped and or legible, especially on unblasted, unrebuilt cores.

But here is my guess and photos FYI.

A17 - January 17?
L2 or L23 - December 2 or 23?

Then I see a hard stamped small "H" and at least a "0" and on the other, an "E" and at least a "2"... the stamps could come up more clearly when blasted / rebuilt. But that's what I can see. Sorry I can't help more.

Cheers all,
Anthony

No idea if the calipers on my car are original, but I'll get these and figure it out later. Too early to be correct, but I can always "pass them along" if mine are correct.
