Default 69 camaro

i put my car in the garage and covered it up a while back because of some health issues. some may remember the car it was in members rides back in 06. thanks bruce. i was in the process of getting it the way i wanted it. i have my health back and im going foreward with my project. i recently put some big block springs in and had to pull the stroker motor have not opened it up yet. i put a solid cam and lifter 350 in it. running very strong. i am going change the rubber and am thinking about a 8 inch rim in the back? i would like to go with bias ply tires and get rid of the bfg radials. maybe some slicks out back any input or suggestions from you guys would be greatly appreciated. i included some recent pics and a video for referance. thanks.

Car looks great Vince! Nice job with the hd video too. Thanks for sharing. I'll look for some pic I've saved similar to what you described.

That's a timeless look with those Cragers. Sweet.

First, glad you're feeling better. There's not much more important than your health.

Now regarding your Camaro: That thing is perfect looking to me. I love it. Looks just like the really nices ones did in 70's and I'd drive that until the wheels fell off, as-is.

Well Vince, When I first saw your car I thought about this look here:

You could debate which tire is more correct, the ones above or this one here:

Same car, just different tires. I have seen a few vintage pics in 69 with cars still running the pie-crusts. Certainly into the 1970's the wrinkle wall is more correct (and faster)!

If you wan't to run a 15x8, I would get the max offset and adjust wiht spacers. I think the max is 5-3/8th offset. Mount up an L60 and enjoy the fat tire look!

As an alternative, you can simply do a 15x7 or even a 15x6 wheel wiht the tire bulge set-up. I think Brent said his Dynomotion Camaro had 15x6 wheels in this picture.

I think I am mistaken. The two blue cars I guess are not the same.

Welcome back Vince! L60 Mickey's or Goodyear's in the back and some skinnies up front for your look. I like the 6.50X15's with some 15X4 inch Cragars. 15X 8's or 15x7's non deep dish for the rear. All black walls in my opinion.
