Default 1969 Chevelle Steering column tag

Currently restoring the steering column from my Baltimore built automatic on the floor 1969 Chevelle SS convertible. Does anyone reproduce the ID tag located on the column? the column has two tags on it - has what is the other tag and does anyone know the correct code and part number that is supposed to be on the tag? Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

You do not say what transmission, shift combination you have so if yours is a manual floor shift it would be CX similar to the one in the photos. I believe I got this from Don Lightfoot (been discussed on here recently). He can make these for you. Mine only had the one decal but have in rare cases seen the second one which was on a 70 Z28. I have not yet decoded that decal so I am not sure what it signifies.

Rick ..thanks for the input . The reason I went this far was from following your thread on the 69 Yenko! The car is an automatic on the floor. Unfortunately I can’t read the codes on either tag. So I am also looking for input on the correct code as well
Thanks
Rob

Automatics are a different code. Non tilt floor auto is CH, part number 7804956.

Thank you so much for the information! I am going to reach out to Don and see if he can make the tag

Any idea what the second tag could be? Both appear to be the same size and same color

Not sure if Don is making those tags but I do reproduce many of the steering column tags and offer them for sale on E-Bay. Here is one listing that I have for sale now on E-Bay for a Chevelle:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/11372957500...84.m1555.l2649

I offer many other steering column decals for Camaro's and Corvette's as well.

I had the steering column assembly part number but didn't have the broadcast code for the decal you're interested in but now that Rick has provided the broadcast code I could easily create one.

Just let me know if you need my help.

Bob
