Default Brake Caliper Rebuilding/Restoring

Does anyone know where I can get the brake calipers on our 69 Biscayne rebuilt/restored?

I have had very good luck with Jeff Watts at Karps Power Brake Service. Great work and good people to deal with. [email protected] 909-985-0800 66 N. Central Ave. Upland, Ca. 91786

I believe Lonestar Caliper can rebuild them.

If it is a 69 single piston caliper resleeving is a waste of money.Replace the piston and a seals for about 20 dollars from any parts store. Bead blast the inside of the caliper and use silicone brake fluid. The operating principals of a single piston caliper is the piston doesnt touch the wall. The piston rides on the square cut seal. Ive already gone to YOUTUBE......so just need to DO IT myself !!!!

I will have caliper housings shot blasted but NOT the pistons .....or does it matter ???

For a driver/street car is KRYLON primer and Cast Blast aerosol OK or will it not hold up for long ??
