Cool car, Chuckles

Haven't done much research on it, but haven't seen many TH400 std. interior 70s.

Mine's the same (black console shift plate, no bright trim on the lower dash panels), but has the woodgrain around the dash gauges.

Makes me further lean to my belief that mine is a re-bodied 79 Berlinetta

Charley,

Detail pix PLEASE. This car can speak volumes.

I'd love to see pics of the original oil filter, emission label and tire pressure label on the door (or glove box), among other things.

The door ding that prompted the parking of the car.

[/ QUOTE ]

That door ding is the whole story behind this car being what it is 35 years later. To put it in perspective the war in Vietnam was still going on when it went into hibernation.

When we were chatting about it at VF I got the impression it was far from a done a done deal at that point..what a great outcome!

An amazing car. Please take more pictures. How long has it been since the engine was fired up? Got any N.O.S. oil to replace the original oil with?

WOW……
Very Nice Charley, I hope you don’t mind being bombarded with questions and
photo requests from us anal 2-Gen Camaro restorers… That car is a Time Capsule
