Default 69 Road Runner Question?

Did Plymouth offer the 2 tone paint that you could get on a 69 SuperBee?

You could get a painted top Road Runner, although it's rare as he!!. I've only seen one, a Sunfire yellow/black top car. It was super low mile but super rusty.

Two-tone paint is the rule, not the exception. There were very few musclecars that didn't have it available.

I have production figures for the RR, if you're interested. Off the top of my head, it's about 4-600 for each coupe bodystyle. As a rule of thumb, post coupes were usually ordered in two-tone at a higher rate than hardtops.

I was told of a rally green A12 car with a white painted top but have not seen it myself?

Yes Rich thats what i was asking about. The reason I ask is I had a dream the other night of a 69 RR HT with a red painted top and white body paint. Basically a Plymouth version of the Yarborough scheme on the Cyclones. Diego, thanks for the statistics. Any breakdown on the colors that could be applied? This A12 Bee is one example for Dodge, but I wasnt sure on the Plymouth RR's?

There are no statistics of combinations, and they didn't keep track of colors till 1970 (except for the buffed silver option).

So now I'm at home and I can go through my numbers . . . for US-spec cars only (so Canadian and exports are not included), 583 coupes and 656 hardtops were built with two-tone paint.

You also mentioned one of my favorite color combos!
