Default Tom Carson, or Carlson

Does anyone know of a Tom Carson or Carlson from Beloit, Wisconsin? Might have been known as Ton the Transmission guy too?

This is the guy I was looking for. Looks like he bought the car from someone in Chicago in the early 80's. Anyone know of someone from that area that had a 1970 ls6 Chevelle, autumn gold, black stripes, bench seat 4 speed?

Awesome you hooked up w/ Tom!
Where was the car shipped/delivered new as you may have more luck tracking from the other end?
If Chicago area, there's lots of new/used old Newspaper ads online...any VT or signs of old alarm system?
Best of luck!

It was bought new at Layoff Motors in Arlington Heights. How do you access these old adds?

It's Latoff, not Layoff, unless you are trying to be funny.

Jon's correct, it's Lattof - Zone 11 Dealer 327.
Lattof took a GM buyout in '08 after 72 years as info @ this link...
https://prev.dailyherald.com/story/?id=242006

The ads are w/ the old newspaper groups which require subscriptions, NewspaperArchives or Newspapers.com who have the most stuff but your system needs to be compatible or results won't show.
Some stuff from the Archives is accessible free via Google as Wickham ad above, I gave a few quick tries for Lattof but most results from the 50's/early 60's although something may be there w/ more thorough searching.
It's unlikely yours is but we found a few Member cars ads in this thread a few years back, give it a whirl and good luck....
