Moved to Rantoul, Il in the early 70s. There were three Deuce's in the area at that time. The Cortez Silver one that I brought down from the Green Bay area -- a dark green one that belonged to a Mark McDonald from Rantoul and a red one that a girl bought from Rogers Chev.

OK, just so I have this straight. The vintage pictures of the Deuce with the tunnel ram and the pictures that Stefano posted are the same car which is owned by Bob J. in IL. Phil G.'s car is the one that was pictured at the SCR. I beleive Phil's car is also for sale in Hemmings right now.

My Deuce is not for sale in Hemmings, but I am thinking of selling it. I do in fact have it on consignment at Gateway Classic Cars in Dearborn Michigan. I also have had some discussion with Ken Schoenthauler in regards to current values on Deuce's.

Yes, it's a pic taken by Charles Gilchrist at Thompson. Car is a Cortez Silver automatic obviously sold new from Central Chev in Cleveland OH. The car showed up later in life in someone's driveway with a tunnel rammed big block in it, and painted blue with really big tires on the back.... It's never been found, we don't have the VIN # - I've sure tried to find that one!!!
