Today marks 2 years since Dad passed away, we are all thinking about him especially today. Mom brought some dinner over and we had a visit.

Dad was/is my role model, my father, my friend, my renovation/restoration partner. I feel very proud that I have been able to take my car project to where it is today with Dad in spirit instead of here in the garage.

Hug, text, visit, call, love your Dad’s they are precious!!

Here is my all time favourite picture of Dad and I. (We had great times)

I am happy I got to spend some time with your Dad at the previous MCACN`s that he attended. He is greatly missed. I am sure he is very proud of his car son Ryan and that you have completed your W-31 in his Honor.

Well Done Ryan!

Dan

MCACN was a dream come true!!

The MSU panel discussions and reunion was 11 out of 10. I am so proud of Diego, Casey and my efforts to bring this group together, and to bring thier Project W31 to the world. (Some of the “students” had not seen each other since 1971)

Spending the week with my father in law was awesome, we get along great (friends) and his help was instrumental, 3/4 T truck (long box, 4 door) plus 24 foot car hauler.... and dead end streets.... I would have been stuck big time in several situations.

Haveing Amy and Jamie at the show Sat/Sun was so special, they see a different side of me and we had a life bucket list ticking weekend!! Our girl was booked all weekend dancing but we will share pictures and stories tonight.

Spending all Saturday with the original owners of my car in Rosemont was surreal in every sense of the word. Al and Lynn and thier daughter Melanie were blown away by the car, the show, the reactions, the whole nine yards. They even got to reconnect with Phil and Richard who had been to thier house to look at the car before me. (Phil had the turquoise 1969 Cutlass S Sports Coupe in the W31 display opposite mine)

Having my car at the show in itself was something I will talk about forever!!!

The W31 Invitational display (assembles by my great friend Dan Vasic) was out of this world, so many people loved this gathering including the owners!!

All the friends I see at shows made this weekend so special, I wish I had more time to chat!! I was overbooked X1000. It was great to meet so many friends from the inter web!!!

Kevin Oeste arranged an interview MCACN afterhours live, it was so fun, I could have talked all night!!

I spent a few hours looking around the show and there were 570 ridiculously cool cars to soak in..... I soaked in about 25%.... Bruce’S pictures are helping me!!

Dan Vasic and Joe Spagnoli held an awesome party that we were graciously invited to. Fun, food, drink, music, friends, family, cars (like you wouldn’t believe) and they started the Hurst Hemi Under Glass, it still had Jay Leno’s DNA on it from the roll over.

I helped with move in, focusing on the W31 invitational display, but quickly upon inspection the other Uber clean cars spend some of the time preparing my car for show duties. I owe Bob Ashton full support next year to catch up! Thursday-Friday are as much fun as Sat-Sun.

I can’t imagine this all fit in 6 days.

Overwhelmed is an understatement.

Ryan W31

It was great meeting you and seeing your beautiful Olds, Ryan. It was heavy too! I almost did not make it pushing it with you across the floor!

I spent so much time, effort, and cash to get it running before the show and I ran out of gas... Dan Jensen, Rich Corsello, and the AMC crew smuggled me a few gallons and a long funnel and problem solved!!!

Thanks for the push!!!

Great meeting you and the family!!

Nice work, Ryan!

And well done on the display, Dan! Sorry we didn't get to chat much, but you should be commended for finding a variety of years and colors.....right in the heart of the MCACN show, no less! Lots of people's interest was pique.

Anyone know why Tweed's car had no front side markers?
