Default Please give some hits on my friend's 70 hemi cuda

I went over to my friends garage to get some racing fuel last night (he has a big tank of it), and he was so proud of the video someone took of his car at a local car show. He has had that hemi since 71, and its fun to hear how it sometimes pays off to be in the right place right time. he got it while working in a gas station! he painted it himself 22 yrs ago, still looks great. He does all his own work on the car, put on exhaust cut outs, 3 inch exhaust.

please increase the hit count, its a nice car and he is a cool guy!

Great story. A real Tor Red (love that <span style="color: #FF6600"><span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'"><span style="font-weight: bold">color</span></span></span>) and Super Performance Axle Package car! . Did your buddy say what it cost him in 1971?

I met him at a local show 15 years ago, he still cruises to the local shows, great guy. He had a great story about using the Hemi Cuda to go camping in the redwood forests in California back in the day with the back seat removed for storage.

Got the exact info on my buddies 70 hemi cuda this weekend, when helping move some old cars.
He paid only <span style="font-weight: bold">$2100 </span>for it in 71, with 4500 miles on it.
Its got 95K on it today!
he's living the dream, as he drives it a lot still.
Still sports California plates <span style="font-weight: bold">'70 hemi'</span>.

Cool car especially with the bench seat. Has to be pretty rare.

I'm kind of guessing here that the dad didn't want to sell the car because of a gas crisis in 1971. Based on the language used, I'd suspect the son probably just got his 3rd speeding or other ticket within about 2 weeks and the dad had enough. haha

Interestingly, you could not get a 4-speed with the bench.
