Default M22 Question

Please see the attached photo. Best I can tell is that this in an M22 built September 8 for the 1970 model year. What im not sure of is what the other numbers mean. Is this some kind of VIN format that someone here may recognize? Any help is much appreciated.

The CT0 means "counter trans" and the zero is the year. Counter trans means it was a complete working transmission from new. That is why it has an assembly date of P0P08C. The 36781 is the serial number of the transmission.

If you ever see a Muncie case with CC and a number after it, it means it was a "counter case" meaning it was an empty case and never assembled. The number again is for the year. That is why on those cases you will not see an assembly date.

Here is a picture of an NOS Muncie case that has the CC0 and a serial number. It has no assembly date as it was an over the counter replacement case.
