Default 69 Tilt Steering Column Wanted (Floor Shift)

Looking for an original 69 Tilt Steering column with the metal locking plate. Let me know if you maybe have something stashed away you would part with.

Thanks sYc (image for reference)

Have found a column. Thank you sYc

I am assuming you are looking for a 1969 Camaro column.

1969 Camaro is a one year only tilt column. Where it says "LOCK" is the giveaway. The rectangular block that has LOCK on it, should have straight sides, not rounded or curved sides. Attached is a couple of 1969 Camaro tilt column pictures.

Many 1970 up columns are being passed off as 1969.

Thanks Warren. Yes...for Camaro

These are getting harder and harder to find over the years. It wasn't until this week that I learned about the car's invoice which showed it did have tilt. It was still in the car with the rosewood wheel back in 86, so I guess someone pilfered it when it was being passed around as a project car back in the late 80's.

Found a nice Rosewood wheel for it and have also found a column as of today Aug 1st.

Pretty rare option for 1969 Camaro. Only 6575 sold. Probably more in Firebirds. Just have to change the knobs on the t/s & tilt lever...Joe
