Hey Tarrytown, if its like in michigan, go to the city or township office and you should be able to get an address to the person who pays the taxes on the property, looks like a great project.

I agree, its terrible that the Chevelle is dying over there. I drove by again today and it was covered in snow I went to the town office and was able to get the peoples names, but no phone number. I think I will just keep driving by until I see a car there, and maybe I will luck out one of these days. Its just all the little things about it that amaze me. The fact that it's been sitting on a fairly busy road for 23 years and nobody has taken anything from it, not even the shifter ball or air cleaner. I know there arent many more cars like this just sitting outside neglected, so I just really want to get it before anything worse happens to it.

You should try using "google.com" to research those names for an address or phone other than Maine, maybe a summer home. Wait to long and someone else will hook up with it.They may even have mail forwarding, check with the Post office.

This 70 SS Chevelle has been sitting in this EXACT spot since at least 1979. The first time I saw it in 79 it was PERFECT. Over the years I think every car guy in PA has tried to buy it. I don't know if it would even be worth messing with now.
