After responding to a medical emergency call at 3:30am, and helping the patient, while leaving the ladder truck running with its lights on, the Honolulu Fire Dept returned outside and discovered that their ladder truck had been stolen...

The fire department immediately notified Honolulu police of the stolen vehicle. Authorities said officers found the fire truck and the 31 year old suspect minutes later at a 7-11 in Makaha.

Last week, a semi truck transporting 20,000lbs of ramen noodles ended up toppling into Lake Conway in Arkansas. This can't be what they meant when they said to “just add water”!

Losses were estimated to be in the tens of dollars.

Default 1965 Pontiac 2+2

Only the “Big Dogs” received the Pinstripes running the length of the car and turning down at the quarter panel extensions.

A Mayfair Maize 2+2 421 rolling on 8 lugs.

Senior factory worker applying the double stripes on a ‘65 2+2.
Up next will be more of the same.

Two terrible pics of an Original ‘65 in storage with it’s fading pinstripes.

At least this one still exists. Quite a few years ago I would go by a local yard where a family was in the scrap metal business. I would buy parts off of cars that they were bringing in. One day I got there just as they had finished cutting the roof off of a 2+2 and then cutting the roof into 4 pieces and dumping it into the interior of the car. Smoke was still coming off of it when I got there. The 421 short block was still in the car with the 4 speed. They had the car hooked to the back of their scrap metal truck, so they weren't interested in selling me any parts off of it.
