Default Motion Sign

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody knows who currently has the yellow Motion sign which was on the west side of the building through to the 90s. I spotted it in a 69 Hi perf cars issue and would like to ask the current owner some questions about it.
Thanks for any help!
Steve

Steve,
I owned that sign for a period of time after it was removed from the building. I am very familiar with it's original condition, and have many photos of it. Ask away.

Verne

damn that is some sweet history. It was actually one of the coolest signs around way back when, just because of the arrow use. If you didn't look right you might fly past the shop because the the store front where this hung came all the way out to the sidewalk and the shop was set back about two car lengths.

Hey Verne - if you don't mind me asking - how did you wind up with the sign I rode past thousands of times over a 20 year period? Every time I did it caught my attention like it was the first time I ever saw it!
And why did you let it go??

Cause it was needed to spice up the fireplace.

I wish I HAD a fireplace I wanted that sign so badly, I convinced myself I would find room for it on my shop wall (small shop). As it turned out, there was just no way it would fit in there, and I had no safe place to keep it until I built a bigger shop. I wish I still had it, but if I did, it would still be sitting outside.

Glenn, somewhere buried deep on here is the long story of how I found it. (friend of a friend)

Verne
PS: I don't know who owns it now.

I think Mr 70 just recently sold that sign.

Jim did you haul it?

Geez, the silence is deafening. Maybe mix in a request for a part number lookup.

Steve, maybe this will help. Here is the original thread.
