Default GM part number help

I had a gentleman come in today asking about #3859911 spring in group 0.303.Looks to be a big block spring but who knows.I didn't get any measurements. It has a round outer with a flat steel inner spring. He had a receipt from Decker Chevrolet in Defiance OH dated 5-28-69 .Any help is appreciated.

1st design & to add a lil more to what all have said.
1968-69 Police w/396 w/solids.
1967-69 Chevelle-Camaro w/396 w/solids.
1966-69 Impala series w/427 w/solids.
1965-66 ALL w/solids.
Alot of BB solid lifter springs became inferior as engine speeds increased. The warranty claims grew,so Chevrolet switched to spring #3970627 beginning with very late 69 & 1970 model production.

Thanks all,I looked in the passenger car and truck catalog and completely forgot to look in Corvette. It was a very busy day today and kinda pushed this customer through without being totally finished.

I knew if anyone would know this site is the most knowledgable.
