Default Looking for orig motor - Chichester PA Speed Shop

Hi,

I know this is a long shot but I am looking for the original motor for one of my project cars. It was sold to a person who worked at a Speed shop in Chichester PA (outside of Philadelphia)in the mid eighties. I have been told his name is Eric and he was tall and thin. Any body know the speed shop or this Eric person?

Any info would be appreciated

It might help if you described the engine.

Nils,

I grew up in Chichester in the 1970's and hung around until
the mid 1980's. There was only one speed shop that I knew
of - Harry Tillman Speed Shop. They are in Aston PA. I
know they are still there. Ask for Harry. He may remember
this guy. Oddly enough, Harry recently told me about an
L/78 that came from it's original car and the owner still
was debating selling it. Wonder if it's the same engine?

Let me know how you make out.

Steve

Steve,

Thanks for the info. I talked to Harry today and he does remember that the guy who worked for him buying a couple of L78 motors out of Delaware. He gave me his correct name and I will try to track him down on the long shot he still has it or knows who he sold it to.
BTW, Harry was very nice and helpful and mentioned that he still has his L78 Nova motor and has been looking for the car for a while.
