Default Radiator Restoration

I am looking for someone to restore an original Harrison Raditor to show quality. Mine is in very good condtion and is a great starting point. I have seen the work of my local shops and I am not impressed.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Nils

I did my own..took it to the local shop and had them separate the tanks. Then I took them home and carefully sraightened out the brass as best I could and them had them solder in the new core but NOT paint it. I then finished off the tanks with some filler and painted it mysefl..looks great!!.

Also what specific brand/color paint did you use?? Aeresol or from your gun??

Thanks,

Chuck, I just regular body filler..been on the crad for a year now..no problems..it is a very thin coat. Fo paint I used Sherwin WIlliams Akrylid eurothane W/hardener..pitch black is the color..sprayed with my gun. Seems to be holding up very well. I did my 70 this way 5 years ago and it still looks great although I dont drive it much.
