Two people, test gear, AC and a slush-o-matic going down the strip and they complain about 15.5 quarter mile time? Cripes.

Open diff is probably the culprit. The picture of the tire smoke is probably on a timed run.

Limited slip is in the option list for the car "as tested". No guarantees it was working though.
