Default 1981 MPC 427 Cobra Model 1/16 Scale

Trying to clean out my storage, found some models.
First up is a Made in USA MPC Company 427 Cobra. This is a new model and looks to be very complete. Some of the pieces have come loose from the parts frame holder. But it looks like it is mostly complete. All the black parts are in a sealed bag. I bought this in 1981. Body is in nice condition with very light flawing. I just can't guarantee EVERY single piece is present. Box overall poor to fair condition. See all pictures. ... Danny

I wrapped the body in toilet paper to help protect.

I built that model when I was 14. I think it is still in my old bedroom of the house I grew up in. It is a fantastic kit, proportions are dead on.

Default Model

Yeah I bought 2. I assembled one and remember getting on my hands and knees and cutting my neighbors grass with scissors. And set the model in that spot and tried to take some realistic pictures with my 2 dollar garage sale camera. I would love to assemble this one, but time is not on my side right now. D
