Very cool Rich. I searched every inch of my Norwood Z to no avail.

Of course, isn't it funny that all the ones that show up on cars for sale are only for L78 or Z/28 cars?

Glad we have guys that can spot the fakes. I quit informing sellers when they had bogus docs or a fake trim tag or fake restamped engines, etc. They either play dumb or get pissed. 99% of the time, they already know its faked.

Fisher Body built the entire body; fabricated, painted, trimmed. As received by Chevrolet final assembly, about 85% of the interior was installed. Broadcast copies did not exist until the body was released to final assembly; at that time they were transmitted to sub-assembly stations and printed. That's why they are not found in seating or behind door panels.

At MCACN a few years ago, retired Norwood workers stated one of the last tasks on the line was to 'de-paper' the unit. They did miss a few [57 cars/hr.] otherwise did a fine job of removing them.

Besides being produced at the Lordstown plant starting in 1967, some Firebirds were also built in Van Nuys and Norwood beginning in 1968.

Firebird production moved to Norwood April, 1969. Camaro production was shut down April 4-13.

Just a lawsuit waiting to happen....

Looks like pics of all the docs have been removed from the listing.
I also don't see any pics of trim tag, carb stamp, engine stamp, etc.
