Had to come back and look at the pics again...tooooo much!!!.

Astock is right, these hoods are truly deadly...even finding an original one of these alone would've been a great find!.

Great to see the Work Order pics and surely an interesting read, but would it be best to maybe delete them from this thread...just thinking of the crooksters and their replica paperwork also since these were built from a SB cars etc how these are really THE all important docs!?.

I was thinking the same thing, Pete. That's why I was a bit reluctant to post the pics of the Dana doc's. Just wanted to hush the naysayers, but now I think I'll ask Rob to doctor a couple of my earlier posts.

Steve
Have you decided for sure to have it fully restored right away,or show it for awhile in as found condition first?
Maybe start a pole in a seperate topic??

I plan to ship it here first to get acquainted with the car, then discuss it with BKH for his recommendation/advice before final decision. I've yet to personally see the car and I want to be careful to do the right thing.

thanks Tom! DANA doc's are so extremely rare, I'd hate to help facilitate the shysters that are bent on producing bogus and counterfeit paperwork.

Smart move...you never know what'll happen! Besides, you can keep copies of all the paperwork when you show the car....like you do with all the rest!

You are a true car guy that spends a LOT of money so that everyone has a chance to see some rare iron...all across the country

BTW...it looks like it still has it's Dana plate frame(s)???

Oops! And here I was, all ready to duplicate that Dana/Pennzoil Oil sticker! (You know, just in case Brian couldn't save the real one. )

Jeff, great job of birddoging. If you find another one call me .

Steve, you once again made the right decision in going with Brian. Great car, great find, congratulations.
