I talked to a friend's wife (Pal.P.D. dispatch)she told me that they are planing a Friday night cruise in Palatine at the old K -Mart now Sear's???. Located at the NE corner of Hicks and Rt.14. no other details. Also hear that Randhurst shopping mall is willing to host the Friday Meadows cruise if they can't figure it out. Will post as I hear.

Wow...thanks Darren. It'll be cool to see the "old" house (if it's still there!) Can you do me a favor and shoot the house across the street? If you're facing my "old" house...it would be across Brockway to the left.

Thanks...and I don't think we'll need to do the video camera thing again!

(My wife still thinks that we're all nuts here )

Darren...thanks so much for the pics. Now I'm on a mission to see if I can find any old pics of the house. I think we have some from the blizzard of '68...

You meant 67 right? A senior moment perhaps? http://www.chipublib.org/004chicago/...nowstorms.html

I grew up in Mt. Prospect for a while. We lived right near Busse Flowers off of 14 (under the water tower) and remember that Mt. Prospect dumped mountains of snow in Busse's field.

Hmmm...I think we got there in 68? I know we have pics of the house under a ton of snow. I could be wrong...it "could" be a "Senior moment"!
