Default power window motor

will be working on a 69 camaro that need a factory power window motor replaced my question is do you have to remove the complete window regulator or does it just un bolt from the regulator

The regulator is spring loaded. Remove the regulator & put a bolt, washers & nut through a hole to keep it together while you change the motor. Alot safer....Joe
