Default Black 1970 Chevelle SS 396 or SS 454 Automatic

I've got a good friend looking for documented black 1970 Chevelle SS with white stripes, a TH400 transmission, bucket seats and a console. A cowl hood, tach, PS and AC would be a plus for him but not a deal breaker but he doesn't want a car with vinyl top. He's not terribly concerned about born with drivetrain but wants a nicely restored correct car he can enjoy that doesn't need a bunch of work. He'll pay up for the right car and is ready to pull the trigger but every black car he's found has a 4 speed, which he doesn't want since he's 75. Text, call or PM me if you have what he's looking for and I'll get you in touch with him. Thanks, Chad 641-660-4019

Thanks to member rubbinisracing, my buddy Jerry found the 70 Chevelle of his dreams last week, a triple black L34/TH400 born with drivetrain car with almost every option available minus fiber optics and front bumper guards. He took off from Indiana to pick the car up in Texas earlier this week and just called me and let me know he made it home safe with the car. To say he's ecstatic would be an understate so thank you Howard and the SYC site!

Default Stance

Nice looking ride and its stance is correct. Back end setting down just a little that’s the way a 70 Chevelle should set.

This was a deal that was supposed to happen. Chad posted for his friend and I read it and had a friend who had a great car he was ready to let go. We put them together and it couldn't have gone smoother. Everybody won! Friends helping friends!

I couldn't agree more Howard, it was meant to be! Helping a buddy find the car other their dreams is almost more fun than finding one for yourself. And a heck of a lot cheaper..lol..
