Default Interesting '60 Impala 348/3-sp Stick Convertible

Neat options on this car. These seem to have increased dramatically in value over the past year...there was a 'barn find' version of this car with a 283 that crested $40k, which is just incredible.

Were those faux exhaust ports on the lower rear quarters offered in '60? First time I have noticed them.

----Bet the original air-cleaner will be expensive to replace, but maybe it's included. Those single 3 air-cleaners look bad. the original big 1 piece with a top fills out the engine compartment and just looks right! Pretty decent 60!.....Bill S

Air cleaner and carbs are in the trunk.

Only the one pic of the engine and I was trying to follow where the center fuel line fed the other 2 and can't see anything either.

I don't know if the exhaust outlets are correct for this year, but they look silly with the chrome exhaust tips hanging down almost under them...

Seems like some "Artistic license" with this one.

I know I've seen those goofy 'exhaust port' things before, but don't know if they were a dealership Parts Dept. item or a JC Whitney/Warshawsky item. Whatever, they need to go away, along with the skirts.

This beautiful '58 had one on each side at a local show years ago too.
