Default 67 pontiac question

Not being too familiar with pontiac stuff i just purchased a 67 firebird all orig car and noticed the rear axle has 2 traction bar brackets and of course the leaf spring perches ,but it also looks to be able to be used in a GTO or something with the 4 link style setup???

The first gen Firebirds used the Tempest 8.2 10 bolt with leaf spring perches instead of the lower control arm brackets. The eyes for the upper control arms are on all of the first gen Firebird rear ends.
