'64 Fuelie Vette Convertible, Nickey car, Silver/Red, Orig Paint
Neat car, and sold new at Nickey, albeit NOM. Even has metallic brakes...great set of options and obviously a gorgeous color combo.
Stefano did you ever own this one? Link to 1964 Corvette Convertible Fuel Injection |

Yes, I purchased that car from the Ralph Salyer family / estate. Used it as my driver for a while. Even the infamous Bob Ashton spent some time behind the wheel as he is an experienced 1964 Corvette guy. Very Kool Corvette. In 1964 other than the 409 Impala this was GMs ultimate performance car.

----A few incorrect pieces but what an outstanding 64 Corvette. The original interior is unbelieveably beautiful. Options are the best. Really, really like this 64...….Bill S

I owned a red '64 FI coupe for more than 10 years. They are real sweet runners, one of my favorites.

Relisted with a $69k buy-it-now. I'm really surprised it didn't sell the first time around.

Such a great car... in one of the BEST color combo's.
I tried my best to get a couple of different people who were looking for mid year roadsters to buy the car when you had it Stefano...

The background history on Ralph Salyer ownership is very interesting. He had and raced a Bill Thomas Cheetah and cut the top off to create the first Cheetah roadster, known as the cro-sal special. Prior while qualifying at Daytona with the Cheetah, a newspaper reported that he attained record speeds of almost 200mph when the wind turbulence ripped the Gulwing doors off the Cheetah.......coining the phrase “blew the doors off”. ( Story and article provided by family members) Also Ralph was a technical advisor to the movie Grand Prix. The family had two extensive photo albums of him on the set and with the stars.
